Event: Dormouse Ecology, Conservation and Woodland management (inc. handling) -September 2025 Mon 1st, Tues 2nd and Weds 3rd

Description

We will look at the ecology of dormice, their conservation and relevant legislation. In addition, we will consider how to survey for dormice and how to set up a regular monitoring site and the requirements both to obtain a disturbance license and a mitigation license.

Please note that due to high demand acceptance onto these courses is by invite only. If you have not received an invite, or have received an invite but not complied with its conditions, we will not be able to accept your payment.

Itinerary:  This is a three-day course, running from 10am to 5pm on Monday, 9am to 5pm Tuesday and 9am to 4pm on Wednesday with tea and meal breaks as appropriate.

This three day course costs £575 (travel, food and accommodation are not included in the course fees)
